Biography
Closer to home, he has, of course, also been
inspired by his native state- Florida- and he
was a finalist in the 2003 "Songs about Florida
Contest" at the
Will McLean Folk Festival.

In reviewing Bryan's music,Tricia Sturgis of
Orlando Talent Share wrote, "Each of his
songs is a feast of the imagination, placing a
different set of shoes on the listener's feet,
from a star-crossed couple in medieval times,
to a household in the Civil War- and a  song
called "Abigail", written from the point of view
of John Proctor in early American Salem, MA.
Rivers' well crafted lyrics range from
psychological portraits- to social commentary
in various flavors."

A while back, Bill Dudley, host of
WMNF's Live
Music Show, referred to Bryan as an
"undiscovered Florida treasure."  Fortunately,
since Bryan is now embracing music as a
career (rather than a sideline), the
"undiscovered" portion of Bill's assessment is
changing.

Companion
A native of Central Florida, Bryan believes
that the most powerful musical instrument
is voice.
His original  songs are both melodic and
thoughtful. What he has experienced during
extensive travels throughout the world has
provided inspiration for many of his songs.
